  • 1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 2 green onions, minced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour (or chickpea flour)
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup grapeseed oil (or other neutral oil, for frying)
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt (or sour cream)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice (from 1/2 lemon)
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill, minced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp sea salt

Instructions

  1. Drain and dry the chickpeas. Mash them in a large bowl until coarse.
  2. Mix in cumin, green onions, garlic, flour, egg, salt, and pepper until combined.
  3. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
