  • 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 5 tablespoons butter (for caramel)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 6 ounces milk chocolate chips
  • Sea salt (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Butter a 9×13-inch baking dish to prevent sticking.
  2. In a saucepan, melt 5 tablespoons butter over medium heat. Add vegan marshmallows and stir until fully melted. Remove from heat and mix in vanilla extract.
  3. In another saucepan, combine sweetened condensed milk, 5 tablespoons butter, and unwrapped caramels. Stir until smooth over medium heat.
  4. Pour the caramel mixture over the Rice Krispie base in the baking dish.
  5. Heat heavy cream until bubbling; pour it over milk chocolate chips in a bowl and stir until smooth. Drizzle the chocolate over the caramel layer.
  6. Finish with a sprinkle of sea salt before allowing to cool completely.
