Ingredients

Scale
  • 2/3 cup smooth peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup softened butter
  • 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 2/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 2/3 cup light brown sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 3 cups self-rising flour
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 4 ripe bananas (mashed, about 1 1/2 cups)
  • 1 1/22 cups chopped chocolate candies

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare two loaf pans by greasing them.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the peanut butter and softened butter with vanilla until fluffy.
  3. Gradually mix in the sugars until well combined, then add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  4. Alternate adding the self-rising flour and Greek yogurt, starting and ending with flour; mix just until combined.
  5. Fold in the mashed bananas and chopped chocolate candies gently.
  6. Divide the batter evenly between the prepared pans.
  7. Bake for about 35 minutes; if browning too quickly, cover loosely with foil. Continue baking for an additional 15-20 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let cool in pans for 15 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
