  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup light or dark brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 56 peaches, cut into wedges
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Melt cubed butter in a 9×13 inch baking dish for about 10 minutes.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, 3/4 cup brown sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Stir in milk and vanilla until just combined.
  3. Toss peach wedges with remaining brown sugar and maple syrup.
  4. Layer half the peaches over melted butter, pour batter on top without stirring, and add remaining peaches.
  5. Bake for 50-55 minutes until golden brown and set in the center.
  6. For drizzle, boil remaining butter and maple syrup for 2 minutes. Serve warm with the drizzle.
