Ingredients

  • Baguette (sliced into 1/2 inch rounds)
  • Olive oil
  • Baby Bella Mushrooms (thinly sliced)
  • Garlic cloves (minced)
  • Marsala apple vinegar
  • Brie Cheese (sliced)
  • Salt and pepper
  • Fresh parsley (finely chopped for garnish)
  • Crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Place baguette slices on a baking sheet and brush with olive oil. Toast for 3-5 minutes until golden brown.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute. Add sliced mushrooms and cook until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes. Pour in Marsala apple vinegar and simmer until reduced by half. Season with salt, pepper, and optional crushed red pepper.
  3. Lay slices of Brie on each toasted baguette, top with the mushroom mixture, and bake for an additional 3-5 minutes until the cheese melts.
