Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, cream together softened butter and granulated sugar until fluffy.
  3. In another bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt; gradually add to the butter-sugar blend until just combined.
  4. Grease a round springform pan and press two-thirds of the dough into the bottom.
  5. Spread apple slices evenly over the base.
  6. Combine mascarpone cheese with lemon juice; spread over the apple layer.
  7. In a separate bowl, mix rolled oats, brown sugar, and cinnamon; sprinkle over the top.
  8. Bake for about 75 minutes until golden brown. Allow cooling slightly before serving.
