  • 1 lb ground chicken (preferably lean)
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for greasing or cooking

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking sheet or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together ground chicken, breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, minced garlic, egg, chopped onion, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper until just combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into four oval loaves and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  5. Let them rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
