  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 12 oz linguine
  • ¾ cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • ¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix ground beef, egg, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic, salt, and pepper until just combined. Form into 20–24 meatballs.
  2. Sear meatballs in olive oil over medium heat until browned (6–8 minutes). Remove from skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic for about a minute. Stir in lemon juice and return meatballs to the skillet to simmer for an additional 5–7 minutes.
  4. Cook linguine according to package directions. In another saucepan, melt butter and stir in heavy cream and Parmesan until creamy; season with salt and pepper.
  5. Toss cooked linguine with cream sauce and serve topped with meatballs and remaining garlic sauce.
