  • 1 and 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup pecan halves
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter (cold and cubed)
  • Sea salt flakes (for garnish)
  • Drizzled caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour and brown sugar. Cut in the cold butter until crumbly. Press into the prepared pan.
  3. Sprinkle pecan halves over the crust.
  4. In a saucepan, melt more butter with brown sugar over medium heat until bubbling, then cook for an additional minute. Pour over pecans and crust.
  5. Bake for 18-20 minutes until golden brown. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top and spread evenly once softened.
  6. Allow to cool before slicing into bars.
