  • 2 cups fresh green beans (trimmed)
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger (minced)
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice or noodles for serving

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add sliced chicken seasoned with salt and pepper. Cook until browned (about 5-7 minutes). Remove from skillet.
  2. In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of vegetable oil and stir-fry green beans for about 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
  3. Add minced garlic and ginger to the green beans and sauté for an additional minute.
  4. Return the chicken to the skillet. Whisk together soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, and optional red pepper flakes in a bowl, then pour over the stir-fry. Stir well and cook for another 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  5. Serve over cooked rice or noodles.
