  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup granulated sugar (for caramel sauce)
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter (for caramel sauce)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream (for caramel sauce)
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt (for caramel sauce)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. For the brownie layer, melt the butter and mix it with sugar. Add eggs and vanilla; blend well.
  3. In a separate bowl, sift together flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Fold into the wet mixture until combined.
  4. Pour brownie batter into a greased springform pan and bake for 25-30 minutes until set but slightly gooey in the center. Cool completely.
  5. For the cheesecake layer, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs, vanilla, and sour cream; mix until creamy.
