  • 1 lb steak tips (sirloin or ribeye), cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 10 oz rigatoni pasta
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp butter (divided)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning (plus more to taste)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Season steak tips with Cajun seasoning. In a skillet, heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter over medium-high heat. Sear steak tips until browned on all sides; set aside.
  2. Boil salted water and cook rigatoni until al dente (8-10 minutes). Reserve half a cup of pasta water before draining.
  3. In the same skillet, melt remaining butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Add heavy cream and simmer gently; stir in Parmesan cheese until melted.
  4. Toss rigatoni into the sauce, adding reserved pasta water to reach desired consistency. Fold in seared steak tips.
  5. Serve immediately, garnished with extra Parmesan and cracked black pepper.
