  • 8 oz. cream cheese (room temperature)
  • 2 eggs (room temperature)

  • ¾ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup quick cooking oats
  • 1/3 cup light brown sugar
  • ¾ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 3 Tablespoons unsalted butter (melted)
  • 3 Tablespoons light brown sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 Tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 egg
  • ¾ cup powdered sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In one bowl, mix together the topping ingredients: flour, oats, light brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, melted butter, and diced apples.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the bread batter ingredients: flour, baking powder, salt, butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, and milk until smooth.
  4. For the cream cheese filling: blend cream cheese with sugar, flour, vanilla extract, and egg until creamy.
  5. Layer half of the bread batter in the prepared pan followed by half of the cream cheese filling and half of the apple topping. Repeat the layers.
  6. Bake for about an hour or until golden brown and set in the middle.
  7. Allow it to cool before slicing.
