  • Turkey breast (3-4 lbs)
  • Apple cider (2 cups)
  • Butter (4 tbsp)
  • Brown sugar (1/4 cup)
  • Apple cider vinegar (2 tbsp)
  • Dijon mustard (1 tbsp)
  • Garlic (2 cloves, minced)
  • Cinnamon (1/2 tsp)
  • Cloves (1/4 tsp, optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Pat the turkey breast dry and season generously with salt and pepper.
  2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter and sear the turkey on all sides until golden brown (3-4 minutes each side).
  3. Transfer turkey to a roasting pan, pour in 1 cup of apple cider, and set aside.
  4. In a saucepan, combine remaining apple cider, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, Dijon mustard, garlic, cinnamon, and cloves. Simmer until thickened into a glaze (10-15 minutes).
  5. Brush turkey with glaze and roast in the oven for 1.5 to 2 hours, basting every 15 minutes until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  6. Let rest for 10-15 minutes before carving.
